Hey, there! I’m Jocelyn (surprise!)

When I’m not baking gluten-free babka I read a lot of books researching for the novel(s!) that I’ll write one day. I love spending time with family, and playing games with friends, and video games; you can also find me painting or hand-knitting from time to time. I am also passionate about the environment, specifically our beautiful Long Island Sound, which is why I put effort into the kinds of materials I use for packaging and supplies, because even one action to help our beaches here helps a forest somewhere else.

I have a bachelor’s degree in digital media journalism from the University of Hartford and a master’s degree in modern Jewish studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. My goal is to create positive change and joy through my gluten-free babka. When I can, I write up and share good environmental news—there are always things to be done for our planet—or babka pairing suggestions on Da Blawg.
