Babka Beach emerged from my deep love and respect for two things: babka, and the environment around us. Here in Stamford, CT, that environment is the beach. The goal has always been to combine love of babka and respect for the beach. Being gluten-free doesn’t necessitate sacrificing our favorite desserts. I work with different flours and ingredients to bring back those tastes and textures we miss that feel so joyful to our tastebuds.

Babka Beach is committed to giving back to the land we live on, particularly to our beautiful beaches and local wildlife, and so a portion of our proceeds supports SoundWaters, a local beach and nature organization that teaches students and residents of the area how to take care of the earth and become catalysts for positive change. Babka Beach itself uses compostable and recyclable packaging and supplies. Just one positive action here can create a positive reaction somewhere else. It's a pleasure doing good for the earth, the sea, and our hankering appetites that crave something delicious.
